I am always SUPER hungry when I get home from work. And, if I’m not careful, I can basically eat a full meal in snacks. I tend to eat light during the day, especially with sitting in an office for the vast majority of it. But, by the time I get home, I need a boost before powering through a workout. I have found that eating something that is both healthy and contains the flavors and textures I am craving is the best satisfying solution. That is where these apple “doughnuts” come in. Quick and easy to make, paired with some chocolate, almond butter, savory and salty “sprinkles”, and a drizzle of honey, this combination satisfies my appetite and sweet tooth every time! It’ll definitely be a new favorite snack idea to add to your daily routine.
